We are looking for a Site Engineer, to join our team in the US #SacyrOnCourse and help us to continue improving people's lives.

Duties and responsibilities of the position:

• Assist the Construction Manager in project planning, risk assessment, and aligning engineering deliverables with project goals.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to address technical queries and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Develop work plans and monitor its implementation since project start-up.
• Administrate Inspection & Test Plans to ensure the work meets required standards.
• Develop 3 week look-ahead schedules, considering relevant project milestones and deadlines.
• Carry out Risk Assessments (JHA/FLHA) to identify and manage work conditions.
• Prepare Request for Information (RFI) submissions and support staff management in its implementation.
• Request quotes to suppliers and subcontractors and prepare pricing evaluations.
• Coordination of surveyors onsite.
• Support and review with shop drawings.
• Support with Permits and Licenses approvals.
• Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task, setting priorities to meet deadlines and project milestones.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and to present information clearly.
• Strong communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form.
• Willingness to contribute actively in team activities, sharing experiences and ideas.

We are looking for a profile with the following requirements and competences:

• Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in Civil Construction or not required 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer background including Microsoft Office package and MS Project (Primavera P6 is a plus)
• Professional certifications and related postgraduate degrees will be positively valued.
