The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards

Key Responsibilities include:
- Supervise all on-site operations, including subcontractors, trades, and labourers.
- Monitor work to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
- Coordinate daily site activities, including materials delivery, equipment usage, and workforce planning.
- Report progress to the Construction Manager and attend regular site meetings.
- Ensure that the project milestones are achieved in line with the construction programme.
- Maintain site documentation including site diaries, progress reports, and health & safety records.
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safety procedures to promote a zero-incident culture.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities when required.
- Identify and address any issues that may arise during the construction process.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry in Ireland.
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (NFQ Level 6+ preferred) or proven experience in Construction Management
- Proven knowledge of Irish building regulations, H&S legislation (including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act), and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- CIF Supervisor Safety Awareness Training (SSAT) – an advantage.
- Valid driving licence.
