As a Liaison Manager, you’ll be at the heart of an exciting infrastructure project in Dublin, based at an airport. Join our dynamic team and make a difference!
The Liaison Manager will be the key point of contact between our project and construction teams, client, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders. The successful candidate will ensure effective communication, resolve issues, and promote cooperation across all project phases, helping to ensure the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholder engagement including clients, local authorities, residents, and subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with community representatives and external partners.
- Coordinate and lead stakeholder meetings, consultations, and public engagement events.
- Communicate project updates, schedules, and potential disruptions to affected parties in a timely and clear manner.
- Manage and resolve any concerns, complaints, or queries raised by stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on community feedback and sentiment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with site managers, engineers, and project teams to ensure alignment of communication strategies with operational plans.
- Support compliance with planning and regulatory conditions, particularly those involving community and environmental obligations.
- Maintain detailed records of all stakeholder interactions, issues raised, and resolutions.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on liaison activities, risks, and mitigation measures.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Proven experience (typically 3–5 years) in a liaison, relationship management, or stakeholder engagement role.
- Proven experience in a stakeholder engagement, liaison, or communications role, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage challenging situations diplomatically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Irish construction regulations, planning conditions, and community engagement standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project management tools.
- Full driving licence.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience working on public sector or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Irish Health & Safety legislation and community consultation processes.
